¿POR QUÉ APARECEN LAS SUBLUXACIONES?

La subluxaciones vertebrales se producen cuando uno o más huesos de la columna se desvían, la articulación pierde su correcta alineación y el resultado es el pinzamiento de un nervio.

Nuestro cerebro es el gran coordinador de las funciones del cuerpo. Manda y recibe información de cada célula del cuerpo a través del Sistema Nervioso Periférico. Cuando hay un pinzamiento en un nervio significa que hay una interferencia en este sistema de comunicación de nuestro cerebro con el cuerpo que, con el tiempo, termina afectándonos y provocando síntomas. En muchos casos, la subluxación no provoca dolor físico, sin embargo su efecto dañino debilita nuestro organismo y rendimiento.

Existen tres posibles causas o tipos de estrés que pueden provocar subluxaciones:

• ESTRÉS FÍSICO: caídas, malos hábitos posturales o posturas forzadas, tensiones, accidentes, lesiones deportivas, sobreesfuerzos…
• ESTRÉS BIOQUÍMICO: mala alimentación, automedicación inadecuada, tabaco, contaminación, toxinas que introducimos en nuestro cuerpo…
• ESTRÉS EMOCIONAL: estrés laboral, problemas familiares o sentimentales, pérdida de un ser querido…

Cuando estamos ante uno de estos tres tipos de estrés, nuestro cuerpo responde creando tensiones que terminan originando una alteración en la posición y movimiento de una articulación. Esta alteración causa un pinzamiento en el nervio y es lo que los quiroprácticos denominamos subluxación. Nuestro sistema nervioso tiene una interferencia por lo que deja de funcionar al 100%, nuestro cuerpo comienza a debilitarse y a funcionar a un menor rendimiento, es decir, aparece una patología y, finalmente, aparece el síntoma.

Subluxations are produced when one or more of our spine’s bones are misaligned; the joint loses its correct alignment and the result is a nerve impingement.

Our brain is the main coordinator of the body functions. It sends and receives information from each cell of our body through the Peripheral Nervous System. When a nerve impingement appears, it means that we have an interference in this system of communication between our brain and our body. This will finally affect us, and it will produce symptoms some time after. In many cases, the subluxations do not produce physical pain; nonetheless its harmful effects weaken our body and physical efficiency.

There are three possible causes of subluxations:

• PHYSICAL STRESS: to fall down, to adopt incorrect postures, tensions, accidents, sport injuries, efforts…
• BIOCHEMICAL STRESS: incorrect alimentation, incorrect auto-medication, smoking, pollution, toxins that we introduce in our body…
• EMOTIONAL STRESS: laboral stress, familiar or sentimental problems, to lose a beloved person…

When we are affected by one of this  three kinds of stresses, our body reply causing muscle tensions that finally originate a positional and movement alteration of the joint. This alteration causes a nerve impingement which is called subluxation by the Chiropractors. Our Nervous System have an interference, therefore it stops working at 100% of its potential, our body starts getting weaker and also works with less physical efficiency; namely,  a pathology appears and, in the end, it  comes along with harmful symptoms.

When the subluxation disappears, the joint recovers its function and it also disappears the nerve impingement, so our body returns to work with its maximum potential.
